bottle - thank you MoritzF! Amber colour, medium-size head, malty aroma. Lovely malty flavour with hints of roasted malt and caramel. Nice and intensive flavour. A shy hoppyness and bitterness in the finish and aftertaste. Well rounded Landbier. Geiserich (4660) - Linz, AUSTRIA - SEP 7, 2007
Bootled: Very malty aroma, notes of cookies and toffee. Clear bronze color, intensive carbonation, nice white, foamy head. Flavor is intensive malty, light sweet and crisp. Notes of toffee and nutes. End is light hoppy, finsih quite astringent and dry with a long remaining bitterness. Tasty. bierkoning (13813) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - AUG 28, 2007
Bottle from MiP. Amber color. Bready, just a bit vinous aroma. malty, bready flavor with raisin and somewhat earthy hops. Vinous flavors, lingering on in the aftertaste. Sweetish landbier, quite drinkable but not spectacular. MiP (16055) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - JUL 30, 2007
Bottle, 5.1%. Slightly malty aroma with a hint of aroma hops. Warm chestnut colour, small unstable head. The flavour is very malty and also dusty ending on a malty note with just a hint of roasted malt. Quite nice. pivnizub (10906) - Bochum, GERMANY - JUL 8, 2007
Bottle: clear, visible carbonation, slowly collapsing off-white fluffy head, a bit barnyardy - with a touch of vegetables - a bit roast-malty nose with a metallic touch; moderate bitter-sweet (-malty) flavour, soft MF; sweet-malty, a bit toasted finish with some late bitterness. =.K., weak start, quite decent flavour......

(bottle, with thanks to Saarlander !) Clear, amber colour with a medium-sized off-white foamy head. Moderately sweet toast-malty aroma, slightly fruity (citrus) and light notes of caramel. Light-sweet flavour, medium to light bodied with a smooth carbonation. Soft malty, toasty taste with a whiff of caramel; slightly bitter and moderately sweet finish with traces of herbal hops. Likeable Landbier. Papsoe (25054) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - OCT 8, 2005
(Bottle 33 cl) Beautiful amber with a small, creamy head. Dark, malty notes with a touch of caramel altogether leaving a soft, smooth and malty beer without much bitterness. Lovely full-bodied and highly drinkable. 270201 Saarlander (1920) - Saarlouis, GERMANY - JAN 13, 2005
