Schöne braune klare Farbe guter Schaum, Geruch malzig röstig sogar leichter Kaffee, Geschmack geht in Richtung alt ein gelungenes Bier!

jonas (7580) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - OCT 21, 2007
Bottle. Spicy honeyish, light metallic aroma. Orange amber, low golden head. Nice aromatic honeycrusted malt body, plenty of spices (Spekulatius) and aromatic hops in the light dry finish. Medium chewy, yet sparkly. Light roast aftertaste. Very pleasant, almost a vienna in style.

Beerhunter111 (20476) - P´Castle, GERMANY - DEC 20, 2016
33cl bottle. Pours deep amber colour with a huge most good lasting off-white head. Aroma of dry malt, nuts, caramel. Taste of dry red malt, caramel, nuts, dry bitter finish, nice!

Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - OCT 8, 2005
(Bottle 33 cl) Beautiful amber with a small, creamy head. Dark, malty notes with a touch of caramel altogether leaving a soft, smooth and malty beer without much bitterness. Lovely full-bodied and highly drinkable. 270201

3.4
MiP (15667) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - JUL 30, 2007
Bottle, 5.1%. Slightly malty aroma with a hint of aroma hops. Warm chestnut colour, small unstable head. The flavour is very malty and also dusty ending on a malty note with just a hint of roasted malt. Quite nice.

3.4
Geiserich (4520) - Linz, AUSTRIA - SEP 7, 2007
Bootled: Very malty aroma, notes of cookies and toffee. Clear bronze color, intensive carbonation, nice white, foamy head. Flavor is intensive malty, light sweet and crisp. Notes of toffee and nutes. End is light hoppy, finsih quite astringent and dry with a long remaining bitterness. Tasty.

3.3
Grima (2394) - Merzkirchen, RLP, GERMANY - FEB 4, 2012
Sorry for the german rating, but this is a lousy rating from my "newbie" time (2007-2009), and it’s not worth of being translated. I just added it for the statistics, and to complete my backlog!
Es riecht sehr lecker vollmundig. Die Farbe is ebenfalls prächtig.

3.2
Quack-Duck (9484) - Down South, GERMANY - OCT 5, 2007
bottle - thank you MoritzF! Amber colour, medium-size head, malty aroma. Lovely malty flavour with hints of roasted malt and caramel. Nice and intensive flavour. A shy hoppyness and bitterness in the finish and aftertaste. Well rounded Landbier.

3.2
Hildigöltur (5104) - København, DENMARK - NOV 16, 2007
Bottled. Amber coloured. Malty aroma with notes of soil and caramel. Sweetish herbal and earth flavour. Dry finish. Medium bodied.

3.2
Ungstrup (37601) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - AUG 16, 2008
Bottled. An amber beer with a thin light tan head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel, and so is the flavor, with a dry malty and grassy finish.
