Cask at the Ledger Building, Canary Wharf, 23/01/16. Light golden brown with a decent off white cap. Nose is on the thin side, light biscuit, faint fruits, straw. Taste comprises biscuit malt, straw, light spice, grains, trace of fruit loaf. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Inoffensive number but offers little in flavour.

Tried at the Victoria, Lincoln. Decent chestnut brown colour with a cream coloured head. Light fruity caramel taste and aroma. Ok bitter.

Cask conditioned handpump Sheaf London 20/01/14. A classic brown coloured beer with a white head. Sweet and sour. Notes of tea. Fruity vomit. Just wrong. Growler/Nethergate do brew some crap.

Draught (Tivoli, Cambridge)
Sweet caramelly toffee aroma, or even honey - in black tea. A touch mushroomy in the taste. Simple sweet body, with a moderate roast. Some sharp fruity retronasals, a little ever-sharp. Sweetish smooth body. A bit dull, but drinkable. Finish a bit earthy. The almost-sour sharp aspects were too noticeable.
