22oz bottle. Thanks to Badbeer. Pours amber with a moderate size, offwhite head, specks of lace. Smells resiny hoppy and dark citrusy, mellow not overpowering. Tastes resiny hoppy and sweet, very sweet. Some dark citrus. Full body, weak carbonation. ATLBeerDog (280) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - SEP 13, 2008
Pours a deep reddish/orange with a small head - low in carbonation. Strong hop aroma dominates the malts. First sip is bitter and hoppy. Not too bad as this is a worthy is DIPA. wetherel (1880) - Cupertino, California, USA - SEP 13, 2008
Bottle from Ty5592. Thanks! Pours cloudy yellow amber color with small head of mixed bubbles. Aroma has some plastic phenolics. I can’t help but wonder if this is artifact of trading during hot weather, or this bottle having a little age. Some melanoidin malt aroma. Leans sweet hiding some of the IBUs. Mild smooth pleasant bitterness. Easy to drink. I think if I had this fresh, I would probably give it a 3.8, but this plastic phenolic is distracting me. Bottled: Pours a slightly hazy orange copper with a thin, wispy-lacing white head. Aroma of sweet toasty caramel and some piny resiny hops. Body starts with a good amount of residual crystal malty sweetness and some piny bittering and flavor hops before a semi-crisp, bittersweet finish. Not as hop forward as a lot of IIPAs, but still quite flavorful. beastiefan2k (3903) - HdG (past: NYC, KS, Rain City), Maryland, USA - AUG 28, 2008
Bomber shared by csbosox, thanks Chris. Pours a hazy amber color with a thick and strong head. Aroma is caramel maltiness that dominates the hops underneath, which are relatively sweet fruit punch like. Taste is a combination of lightly sweet malts and light sweet hops and some bitterness underneath that. The malts are surprisingly clean despite the sweetness. Its a cool sweet hop brew.

Bomber shared by csbosox. Pours a hazy dark orange with a thin skin of off-white head and spotty lace. The nose is sweet and malty with subtle fruity and earthy hops in support. Medium-bodied and slick with a bitter, lightly grainy mouthfeel at the swallow. Round, sweet malt with a fruity/earthy hop backing and a moderately bitter finish. This is a nice brew; not spectacular for the style, but nice. Thanks for sharing this with us, Chris. csbosox (1229) - Prairie Village, Kansas, USA - AUG 24, 2008

Scant notes, but bear with me:
Nice, vivid nose of orange hops and caramel malts.
Taste is orange hops, caramel, with a solid backbone and some more alcohol.
Finishes with a nice bitterness. tomthompson89 (1982) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 12, 2008
