On tap at the brewery, pours a hazy, dark gold with some lacing, white head. Nose has an odd soap note, very industrial, some stale bread. Flavor of lemon and soap, honey, some tea. Watery finish. A big mess. arnold931 (1263) - Iowa, USA - APR 28, 2014
Tap at the brewery. Pours fairly clear orange copper. Some lacing. Some overripe pineapple and grapefruit in the flavor. Not sure what to make of this IPA. cbfobes (2883) - Quad Cities, Illinois, USA - JUN 22, 2012
On tap at brewpub, pours a clear light amber with a thin soapy head and spotty lacing, the aroma has a slight hop touch to it but there isnít much there, the flavor has a light hop front end with a malty finish, pretty middle of the road ipa. nuplastikk (6220) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 14, 2011
Solid brewpub IPA. Big, bold, balanced. Golden tan, rich. Toasty golden malt tones. OK. muzzlehatch (4951) - Beloit, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 9, 2006
Draught pint at the brewpub, mid-October 2006. Amber-bronze colored, very clear with just a smidgeon of white head but nice lacing....faint aroma offers wafts of tart apples and cherries, muted pine sap, but it all blows away before you can enjoy it....malty and relatively sweet on the tongue, very light pungent hoppy notes, somewhat thin, earthy and moderately bitter at the finish, tingly carbonation. Ehhh.

Draught at the brewpub. Clear light orange color with thin white head that laced the glass. Aroma and flavor of grapefruity hops with plenty of hop bitterness. Nice IPA. heemer77 (5355) - Urbandale, Iowa, USA - OCT 22, 2006
The body was dark gold with a white colored head on top. The aroma was grapefruit with some dish soap. There was also a little bit of bread crust. The taste was bitter bread crust with some spice of black pepper. There was also a little bit of toffee. A decent IPA.
