Draft pours golden with a white head. Aroma of honey and yeast. Taste is grains, a hint of honey and grass.

muzzlehatch (4963) - Beloit, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 11, 2016
Draught sample at the brewpub, July 26th. Pale yellow/gold, no real head and no retention when swirled...grassy, dry aroma, somewhat un-fresh but not necessarily in a "good" barnyard way if you know what I mean, although this improves and becomes at least tolerable with a few minutes warmth...some decent malt character (a touch of rye, it seems to me) in the body, very dry, but a bit too thin and way over-carbonated. At least this does seem to have a bit of a "Belgian" atmosphere about it, unlike the previous and worse "Monk".

nimbleprop (8452) - SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA - SEP 2, 2015
On tap at the brewery, pours a hazy honey gold with zero head. Nose of honey and flowers. Flavor has the same, lemon, straw, but a lot of flowers and honey. Dry finish.

Travlr (25224) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - AUG 6, 2015
Draft at the source. Cloudy yellow with orange tint. Aroma of lemon and sourdough bread. Taste is sour lemon. Dry finish.

kaser (6314) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 28, 2015
Had this as part of a flight at Grumpy Troll in Mount Horeb, WI. A nice farmhouse. Orange and cloudy with white head. Fruity orange vanilla notes. Musty and honey aroma

XmnwildX12 (2079) - Farmington, Minnesota, USA - JUL 7, 2012
Has some wheat and hay scents. Taste is rather bland, just some hay/straw taste like the scent. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

rondphoto (4467) - Lakeside Park, Kentucky, USA - JUN 17, 2012
Clear straw color with a thick ring head and streaks of lace. Delicate taste of wheat and malt - most of the taste on the side of the tongue. Nice, light bittering keeps control. Pleasant, but so light on taste that it hardly keeps my interest.

nuplastikk (6312) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 13, 2012
On tap at Grumpy Troll. Unfiltered orange-brown. Thin beige head. Off burnt butter aroma. This one is pretty weak. Farmhouse Ale in the Spotted Cow tradition. Messy malt tones covered up with some odd citrus and honey tones. Doesn’t capture any style, just a bad mess. Off funky flavors, this a a clear miss.

deyholla (11749) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - APR 7, 2012
Sampled at the brewpub. Pours a clear yellowish gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma is full of grass and hay with a backing light flora note. Flavor starts with grains and hay and has notes of light fruit and grass in the finish.

BVery (10609) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - SEP 5, 2011
Tap at the brewpub. Hazy light yellow pour. Very mild wheat and citrus nose. Watery palate. Taste was clove, coriander, and wheat. Slightly sweet.
