On tap at the brewpub 7/3/10: Pours a clear deep bronze amber with a thin ring of wispy white head. Has a sweet wheaty and grainy pale malty nose with some grassy hay and clove notes. Starts with good fullness and light wheaty sweetness and a unique hay flavor and mild bitterness with some yeasty esters and clove spice before a drier finish with a touch of funk. A pretty unique brew but could be a little cleaner tasting. drewbeerme (3920) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUL 9, 2010
