rauchbier (3908) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - FEB 17, 2003
Bottle conditioned. Copper colour, moderate head and good condition. Complex aromas that seem to constantly change, starts off with spicy apple and alcohol, then coconut, rubber and finally peaty whisky. Apple becomes more apparent in the mouth mingling with yeast, honey and spices. Finish is earthy with a chalky driness and some lingering hop flavour. A tripel-double, methinks.

Nice murky and cloudy appearance. A pretty spicey and sweet aroma full of sweet pears and lemon peel. The flavor is not as sweet, more of a moderately spicy wheat and orange flavor. Pretty nice. Thanks to my buddy Oscar who brought this over from Holland.

mwesth (279) - Skovlunde, DENMARK - JUL 14, 2004
Cloudy orange with a big, lasting head. Spicy and sweet fruity aroma. Lots of malt and a dry hoppy taste. Some alcohol in the finish. A nice and complex beer, I would like to have it again.

NoiZe (2323) - Zeist, NETHERLANDS - SEP 28, 2004
Nice bitter taste, little bit fruity. Not the usual taste for a tripel. Nice cloudy colour, a bit orange/yellow. A lot of sugar in the flavour. A nice beer to start an evening.

Suprisingly light body. Nice aroma, little bit spicy. Warm palate in your mounth. Appearance not standard, taste a real abbey tripel.

jbrus (4990) - Delft, NETHERLANDS - OCT 1, 2006
Bottled. Very fruity aroma with pineapple, pear and a hint of varnish. Golden color, white head, good lace. Sweet, citrus, pineapple, light bitter. Burning in my throat, full yet sparkling. Straightforward but very nice and drinkable.

IrishBoy (4224) - Bakersfield, California, USA - MAY 25, 2007
30cl bottle; Nose is delicious of spices, yeast, light apply fruit, and a tiny funk note; lightly hazed golden color with a big yellowish head; flavor with some tartness, clovey spices, yeasti graininess, and nice tart finish. Nice funky tripel and kind of underrated!

Bottle at home, thanks to Shivandragon!
Hazy orange amber, with flocks of yeast and a nice lasting white head. Very nice aroma full of citrus/orange fruits. Taste is also very fruity, with peach and orange, some yeast and a good malty base. Good body and carbonation. Decent tripel!

Abijen (2571) - ’s-Hertogenbosch, NETHERLANDS - APR 7, 2013
pretty nice triple. Pours a golden beer, hazy liquid and a rocky white head. Smells like grapefruit and orange. Fruity. It tasted light bitterness. The mouthfeel wasnt that good. The fizzy carbo was not really nice.

Herbal and fruity-sweet, malts in aroma. Cloudy, yellow-orange coloured with a lasting creamy white head. Taste is sweet, fruity. More bitter towards the finish. Some spices. Complex, not too balanced. Actually temporary brewed in the texelse bierbrouwerij.
