Bottle. Just an everyday pilsner. Golden color, small head. No real aroma, flat taste of grain and some subtle hops. Boring. thanatosti (1811) - Culemborg, NETHERLANDS - JAN 24, 2014
30 cl. bottle @ home, gift from Hilde but bought @ the local Coop supermarket. Golden colour with a big white head. Slightly grainy aroma and a hopbittertaste with a metallic aftertaste. Decent pilsener. Christos (5902) - Arnhem, NETHERLANDS - SEP 4, 2013
Bottle 300 ml, through a trade with ShivanDragon, thanks! Into a footed pilsner glass,ABV 5% deanso (10126) - Chiang Mai, THAILAND - AUG 29, 2013
Golden yellow colour on the body, with a tall and very thick soapy head sitting on top and sitting there for quite long too! Lots of activity in the glass, countless little bubbles finding their way to the top. Heavy lacing left on the glass after the foam finally collapsed (but then, not entirely).
Aroma of malts, with some hay in it. Pretty standard.
Taste is of stale bread, hay and a metallic flavour that during the first sips seems to overpower everything but after a while it retreats.
Thin body, good carbonation, maybe a little bit low but seems suitable.
An okay pilsener with a rather impressive appearance to amke up for its small flaws.
33cl bottle via a friend. Abijen (2572) - ’s-Hertogenbosch, NETHERLANDS - APR 7, 2013
Thick white head. Clear golden pour. An ok pilsner.
My first Grunn beer from a package of 5. A not so special pilsner.
Not much to say about.
