COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
"Gruut" is an ancient Flemish coin. In medieval Ghent, brewers used Gruuts to pay taxes on the richness of their brew. Gentse Stadsbrouwerij has revived this tradition with Gruut Wit Beer. Enjoy it’s natural cloudiness, golden color, and refreshing finish.

ManVsBeer (10760) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - SEP 19, 2017
Bottle from Bier Paleis, Brugge. Very hazed golden-amber with a thin head. Has a nice wheat nose with banana at its most prominent here, but there's a good blast in its taste too albeit a little thin in its texture.

From Belgiuminabox. In Teku glass. Playing 8 Bit Commando, then Tengami. Even without any hops, it tastes very similar to a standard (and good, not too much spicy) wit, maybe a bit more herbal

JaKeAFC (1247) - ITALY - AUG 25, 2017
Sample at the brewery. Very pale milky color hazed white head. Aroma is wheaty, floury and spiced with orange mostly, spruce, pink pepper, mint/herbs. Taste sweet light tart, thin watery body, soft carb, easy to drink. Finish is like vine sprouts. A peculiar wit feels historical somehow, ancient style. No hops i think.
