Woh - bread pudding! Big sweet malts and raisins. Slightly gravy-like taste, but apart from that, it’s very sweet and hugely full bodied. Rich toffeeness in the mouth, and the burnt corners of bread pudding.

Nut brown. Tanned small head. Sweet malty aroma. Good smooth palate: sweet, slightly alcoholic. Some prunes like in Belgian ales. Hides alcohol quite well and finishing short.
The head is medium, the body dark and brown. Recommended drinking temperature 2-20°C! The taste is darkmalty, less roasty, creamy, fruity-aromatic. The aftertaste is long. Nice! 11/12/12/11/11/12 Oakes (17676) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 21, 2004
Fiery reddish-brown colour. No head. Rich toffeeish aroma. Very sweet flavour - chewy toffeeish malts. They carry enough crystal malt earthiness and are extracted well enough to provide balance. Sweet, slightly smokey finish. TEJA (3056) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - AUG 14, 2012
Bottle sampled at Dan, thanks.
Short beige head. Red-amber color. Nice malty aroma with a tuch of caramell and plain pilsner malts. Nice malty taste with some fudge and medium sweetness. MEdium to low bitterness. larsga (7539) - Oslo, NORWAY - SEP 15, 2013
Small offwhite head. Clear brown body. Roasty sugary caramelly aroma with rye crisp bread notes. Sweet-dryish caramelly earthy rye crisp bread taste. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish earthy caramelly roasted sugar aftertaste with syrupy rye crisp bread notes. Very nice and drinkable. Excellent. (0.33l bottle, from Bambalyne, Vilnius.) Bottle shared by larsga. Glowing amber. Rich, malty, sweet, more Belgian than German.
