4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Black liquid with a good tanned head. It looks like a perfect stout.
Roasted malts in nose, but also some hops.
In mouth you find roasted malts, some alcohol and a bitter finish.
Its more like a strong porter than a black IPA. Really easy to drink.
75 cl bottle. Pours darkest brown, almost black, with brown foam. Aroma is intense: cocoa, coffee, nuts, caramel, black treacle... Round and wide in the mouth, with sweet, metallic and bitter flavors. Very long finish. Mortlach (2532) - Rome, ITALY - MAY 31, 2015
330ml bottle @home. Deep brown appearance with a big beige/cappuccino head. Aroma is roasted malts, mocha with a strong hoppiness, pine, resin, yeasts, some herbal, medicine. Flavour is rich and powerful, light sweet at first, roasted malts, coffee, bitter chocolate, then it evolves in a long and persistent bitter end. Full body, medium carbonation. Rough, weird... extreme! Not my cup of tea. It could be refined. clockk (211) - Lada / Langreo, SPAIN - APR 12, 2015

Bottle, shared at RBAG 2014 by Sid. Dark brown with a very lively head. Chocolate and coffee and piney hops with an estery quality, finishing with moderate bitterness. A beer with an identity crisis, but not bad at all! dresden (1581) - Saskatchewan, CANADA - JUL 13, 2014
RBAG, I think it was Sid’s bottle. Deep brown. Aroma is chocolate and citrus fruit. Fruity hops are quite present, but some coffee too. I dont know what an IPAporter is, but it sure sounds close to black ipa. This was interesting, but. not amazing. dfearnley (2379) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 12, 2014
