COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Strong body and powerful flavour ale which offers a ’velvet sip’. The vanilla flavour, from Madagascar beans, stands out above roasted, cocoa and coffee notes. It is a collaboration with ’La Quince Brewery’ from Madrid.

Donkere volle smaak. Koffie, roast, chocolade, vanille. Lange warme bittere afdronk. Zeer smooth, licht romig in de mond. Prachtige stout.

Kauge (1977) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - MAY 10, 2017
Bottle, gift from Helsinki. Batch 789; BB 02/2023. Dark brown with nice but small dark beige head. Aroma... the expected goodiness, vanilla most of all, with a pleasant roasty coffeey underlayer. Very sweet, very nice, but I can’t help but feel it’s just another adjunct IS. Faint harshness in the finish. Kinda sticky on the palate, soft mouthfeel, fine carbonation. A well made albeit a bit dull dessert beer; giving it a high score cause I’m enjoying it.
