@Home fles uit Spanje: @Colmado L’estuca, @Girona,
Bottled. Bitter, reminds me of my wife’s coffee. Refreshing, floral aroma, very tasty. Pawola22 (3262) - Woodridge, Illinois, USA - MAY 19, 2013
33cl bottle from La Bonita Pinto in Barcelona. Pours a cloudy, golden-copper colored body with an inch thick, foamy and frothy, off-white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a soapy lacing. Aroma is oxidized caramels with some grass, a few fruit notes, and a touch of spice. Flavor is similar. Oxidized caramels with some toast, grass, a light spice, and some fruit. Finishes dry, papery, and bitter before leaving a fairly lengthy aftertaste. Light body and a lively, high carbonation. Overall, not the best bottle of this. Oxidized and over carbonated. Little cloudy amber beer, creamy white head, little stable, adhesive. Aroma: very fruity, lots of lychees, bubble gum, some sort of candy, I can’t remember which one, but it brings back some childhood memories. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty bitter, some citrus, that specific kind of candy, bit nutty, orange peel. Aftertaste: bitter, some citrus, grapefruit.
Pours a hazy pale golden color with a bubbly white foam. The nose is full of spicy malt, straw, citrus and a trace of sweet bubblegum. The palate is similar with a sweet bubblegum, earthy malt beginning that slides into a earthy bitter grassy like finish... complex little beer with a unique flavor profile thats worth trying !
