Brewed for the BirraSo beer festival. Light-bodied ale but ’enhanced’ with generous amounts of hops. Citrus and floral long flavor. It is our tribute to the Ska-Reggae-Soul band from Barcelona after more than 25 years making people dance.

Hazy gold beer, decent pale cream colour head. Palate has a light fine crispness. Thin malts, a touch of grain and a little creamy sweetness. Light orangey hop, mild tangerine. Touches of citric pith, hop spice and yellow grapefruit on the finish. Pretty drinkable.

Draft at Murphys Law, The Hague. Hazy orange with a big white head. Aroma of herbal hops, green weeds, pine and light fruits. Flavour is light moderate sweet and moderate to light heavy bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Clear deep gold, with small head and good cling. Little visible carbonization. Clean intense aroma of tropical fruits (passion fruit) and peach. Quite bitter taste of peach and a hint of cloves. Rather medium intense taste with long finish and smooth palate. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap @Buskers Pub (Rome). Oro carico, appena torbida, schiuma bianca media persistente. Corpo leggero, carbonazione media. Un po’ anonima.

Taste: sweet start, malty, pretty sourish touch, overripe fruits, some caramel. Aftertaste: very fruity, tropical fruits, soft bitterness, caramel, malty finish.

Bottle at home. Clear dark golden but with some small particles floating around. Quite some grapefruit, bitter orange blossom, light tea, caramel, quite grassy with some dusty itter herbs, grapefruit pit oil. It’s very grapefruity but not in a juicy way. Light sweet and over medium bitter. Medium bodied. Nice!

CONCLUSION : de la grande american pale ale made in Spain …
