GBZ59 (1217) - BARCELONA (Catalonia), - SEP 7, 2013
330ml bottle. Wine glass. Brownish amber color, foggy appearance. Yellowish foam creates a close & lasting crown. Lacing rings on sides. Caramel malt & candy aromas mixed with floral hues followed by subtle resiny touch increasing to a sharp note. Toasted caramel malt at first sip followed by sharp floral & resiny bitterness. Full body. Moderate carbonation. Untuous texture & creamy mouthfeel. Citrics & candies in the middle linger into a long bitter finish. Fresh wood & resins on the aftertaste. Incredible well balanced beer where malt backbone stands up no matter super high IBU profile. Flavorful resiny citric zest sediments at the bottom.

Bottled. Brown colour with a creamy beige head, good lasting as well. Aroma is strong bittery, caramelish and fruity. Flavor has notes of citrus, strong bitterness with a long duration, resins and orange notes are present. The final is strong bitterness.
