In short: A very dank and yeasty golden IPA. Meh. andrepintado (3707) - Porto, PORTUGAL - FEB 24, 2014
How: Bottle 330ml at L’Espumossa Art & Cervesa, Barcelona.
The look: Partly cloudy golden body topped by a persistent small white head.
In long: Nose is very dank sweaty hops, I’ve rarely has such a damp basement sensation smelling a fresh IPA, even sweaty notes coming through. In mouth the beer has a full body fluffy texture with a medium carbonation. Tate is a big fluffy yeast mixture, wort, sweaty armpits, caramel, resin, bitter orange peels, overripe fruits. Bitterness level is quite high. A total lack of brightness in the flavors, not refreshing, not fun. That was the first beer I drank in Spain, I was as frustrated and as sad as a tyrannosaur-rex at a party who cannot throw his hands in the air and wave them like he just don’t care.
33cl bottle thanks to teddybeer. Dark orange color with nice thin head. Body is smooth and quite thick. Taste is high bitter and low sweet. Aroma is mango, caramel and hop. poalet (17) - Figueres, - OCT 7, 2013
