Usually called Draught; sometimes called Cold or Extra Cold - same beer, but served colder. Abv ranges from 4.1 to 4.3 % depending on where it was brewed (Guinness exports a hopped and concentrated wort to regional breweries who then brew it on site).
Launched in 1961.
Ingredients: Pale ale malt, about 25 to 30% flaked barley, and about 10% roasted barley, with no other grains or sugars; several hop varieties, mainly Goldings (pellets and isomerized extract); a flocculent head-forming ale yeast.

Pours pitch black with a very decent slowly dissipating cream head. Light malty aromas. Taste is very malty and sweet. Some smooth bitterness, coffee and barley hints to be noticed in the flavor. Finish is not very strong and medium dry. Palate is medium bodied, creamy and smooth. Very little carbonation. Overall a very decent dry stout. Very enjoyable in moderate quantities

A: Dark reddish brown with a thick, dense tan head that is murky at first and then separates from the beer in a neat line. N: Biscuits, plums, burnt toast, liquorice. T: The head and beer create two disparate taste sensations. The head is creamy with a slightly acrid burnt note. The beer itself is completely flat, with plum juice and roasted malt the dominant notes. Acidity reminiscent of malt vinegar. P: Thin O: A well-made stout and definitely very drinkable.

UPDATED: JUN 21, 2017 Czekalem na to dlugo..oczywiscie w przeciagu kilkunastu lat wypilem hektolitry Guinessa, lecz z ocena go zawsze czekalem by przyjechac do Mekki. A wiec, pint w Storehouse Guinness w Dublinie. Czarny jak smola o pieknej kremowej pianie ,ktora utrzymuje sie pieknie w szkle. Lekko kawowy aromat z ladunkiem palonych slodow. W smaku lagodne o niemalze jedwabistej konsystencji.

Przyjemny, lekki stout.

UPDATED: JUN 17, 2017 440mL nitro can (brewed in Dublin) into an oversized wine glass. Appearance: Dark brown with a thick everlasting nitro tan head. Unbeatable thick lacing. Aroma: Roast malt, cream, liquorice, coffee. Taste: Follows the nose, plus has acidity and very light bitterness. Mouthfeel: Creamy and velvety but no carbonation. Develops into a watery body by halfway (3/5). Overall: Enjoyable to sip, but not a top tier beer. Thankfully the mainstream leader of stouts is not terrible, unlike Bud/Corona/Stella/VB to lagers.

Smoliście czarne, piana dzięki kulce z azotem bardzo gęsta, wręcz kremowa. W zapachu mocny aromat orzechów z delikatną nutą karmelu. W smaku niestety trochę puste. Brak goryczki, lekki posmak tego gazu z kulki...

440 ml draught. Black colour with small creamy head. Roasted malt, coffee, smoke. Malty, with sour hint. Flat carbonation, oily and thin texture. Could be a bit more fizzy, but it is still good. Better than from bottle.

The thing is with Guinness, it’s a bit like ale. It depends on where you get it. In my experience, going to an actual Irish Bar it’s usually better in taste than a Wetherspoons or an English bar. If you are going to compare it to anything it has a bit of a coffee taste but it has its own flavour really. I used to drink Guinness in any pub but since having it in Irish pubs I don’t dare drink it in normal pubs. Guinness really is a drink you have to be in the mood for, unless you’re one of these people who swears by it.

Spory zawód. W zapachu zupełnie nijakie w smaku delikatnie żygowinkowo-kwaśne. Raczej nie polecam. EDIT: Mam problem z dopiciem całej puszki, obniżam ocenę. Naprawdę żygowinowo męczące
