Usually called Draught; sometimes called Cold or Extra Cold - same beer, but served colder. Abv ranges from 4.1 to 4.3 % depending on where it was brewed (Guinness exports a hopped and concentrated wort to regional breweries who then brew it on site).
Launched in 1961.
Ingredients: Pale ale malt, about 25 to 30% flaked barley, and about 10% roasted barley, with no other grains or sugars; several hop varieties, mainly Goldings (pellets and isomerized extract); a flocculent head-forming ale yeast.

On draft at St. James’s Gate, Dublin. Smooth, creamy head over black mildy carbonated beer. Very delicious. Each one tastes better than the one before it.

0,5 l can. Pours dark brown, almost black with solid lasting light brown head. Aroma of bitter cocoa, light coffee and roasted malt. Body is light sweet, medium bitter. Body is light to medium, texture almost thin and carbonation average. Finish is medium bitter cocoa with more pronounced roast flavor. Smooth drinker.

From what I know to this beer: Too expensive, too overrated... why to give money on this, when you just can drink a quality imperial stout? I do not know this style but, from what I ve tried - I can only say - too much water. I need more, just more in it, more from what that is started there.

Backlog, ocena wystawiona na podstawie wspomnień z degustacji oraz przepisana z profilu na Untappd. Jeden ze słabszych guinessów, które piłem.

Pretty tasty for a mass produced brew. A tad expensive for an everyday drinker, but i enjoy it. When the temps outside start to dip, this one is a good go-to beer. Recommended

[Puszka] Wygląd: Czarne nieprzejrzyste, bardzo trwała, drobnopęcherzykowa piana Aromat: Nikły, nieco kawowy. Smak: Mało intensywny, nieco przypieczonych słodów, lekka kwaśność, wspaniale kremowe, idealnie pijalne.

Ciemnorubinowe, piana mistrzostwo świata, efekt azotowy również (moje 1wsze piwo z azotem). W aromacie czekolada i kwaśna suszona śliwka i taki sztuczno-drożdżowo-chlebowy aromat (może azot?). W smaku podobnie jak z aromacie, kawowy finish. Piwo dość wytrawne. Odczucie w ustach kremowe ale piwo bardziej w stronę wodnistą. Całkiem, całkiem aczkolwiek lepiej wygląda niż smakuje :P

Can atva social club oitside Farnham. Drank it very quickly and it didn't leave much of an impression. Looks good. Creammy bitter with sme sweetness. Much lighter and thinner than I expected. OK macro beer.

Bevuta il 06/10/2017 @BirreriaDiGrignasco in Grignasco (NO). Schiuma cremosa color cappuccino, molto persistente. In bocca domina il tostato. Quasi non carbonata. Poco corpo. Texture acquosa. Retrogusto amaro e secco. A livello di beverinitá è ok, ma non regala alcun sapore particolare. Una semplice dry stout commerciale.

macca147 (390) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - OCT 6, 2017
On tap at Guinness brewery, Dublin. Pours a deep ink black with a solid beige head. Aroma: Roasted malt, bitter cocoa, coffee notes. Pleasant aroma but not complex. Taste: Roasted malt dominates. Mild bitter cocoa and brown sugar flavours. Smooth texture. Medium bodied. Mild bitterness. Good solid stout. Much better fresh from the brewery than anywhere else. Quality does vary widely from country to country and venue to venue.
