Usually called Draught; sometimes called Cold or Extra Cold - same beer, but served colder. Abv ranges from 4.1 to 4.3 % depending on where it was brewed (Guinness exports a hopped and concentrated wort to regional breweries who then brew it on site).
Launched in 1961.
Ingredients: Pale ale malt, about 25 to 30% flaked barley, and about 10% roasted barley, with no other grains or sugars; several hop varieties, mainly Goldings (pellets and isomerized extract); a flocculent head-forming ale yeast.

Westkyoto77's rating

   AROMA 6/10   APPEARANCE 4/5   TASTE 7/10   PALATE 4/5   OVERALL 13/20

To think I used to believe this was a heavy beer. Still like it, but after trying many different stouts, the body feels watery. Looks a treat with its black-as-night body and delicious creamy head. Toasted malts dominate, but it's not over-bitter or over-sweet. The most chuggable dark beer, and goes a treat with pub food, but it's not nearly as exciting as it was when I toured the Dublin factory ten years ago this week. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Deep dark, almost black colour, thick beige head. Aroma of yeast, roasted malt, hints of hops and nuts. Bitter taste, flavors of coffee and malts. Bitter end, light body, long finish. Not my first one, I remembered it a lot better than this.

Sorry, I had to upload these old ratings. They were for me, not for uploading. And also I need 75 characters, hence this sentence. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Piana na azocie, dość obfita, kremowa, beżowa, piwo czarne. W aromacie ciemna czekolada, palony słód, owocowe estry, marcepan, chleb. Niskie wysycenie. Goryczka niska.

Warka: 21.06.2018 r. WYGLĄD: piwo smoliście ciemne; piana biało-lekkobeżowa mocno ubita, bardzo obfita. AROMAT: pierwsze nuty to lekka paloność i kawa. SMAK: pierwsze nuty to czekolada i mało intensywna kawa. Dosyć słodkie. Wysycenie średnie. Goryczka minimalna, a przy przełknięciu nieco większa. Aftertaste lekko kawowy i ogólnie mało intensywny.

gaara1221 (195) - POLAND - SEP 10, 2017
W smaku kwaskowe, palone slody, czarny chleb. Kremowe w odczuciu.

When I was in Dublin in 1974 this used to be my favorite beer. I still have found memories of drinking a pint (or two) at my favorite pub. I can still see the creamy, frothy head on each pint. The imported version of this beer is not as good, however, still not bad I need to visit Ireland again.
