Usually called Draught; sometimes called Cold or Extra Cold - same beer, but served colder. Abv ranges from 4.1 to 4.3 % depending on where it was brewed (Guinness exports a hopped and concentrated wort to regional breweries who then brew it on site).
Launched in 1961.
Ingredients: Pale ale malt, about 25 to 30% flaked barley, and about 10% roasted barley, with no other grains or sugars; several hop varieties, mainly Goldings (pellets and isomerized extract); a flocculent head-forming ale yeast.

This classic is best enjoyed at your local public house. The crisp taste may surprise you at first, but it finishes easy. A first time drinker of this stout may find it "helpful" to dive past the head and get right to the coffee flavored sweetness below.

Bardzo kremowe i nisko wysycone. Prezentuje się pięknie. W zapachu słody. Smak: smukły i lekki z wyczuwalną lekką kawą.

The beer looks perfect (if properly poured). Excellent beige head, and it tastes very nice. One of my favourite light beers - definitely worth the price.

(440ml can) Aroma: Chocolate, caramel, a little bit like a dark lager. Not intensive at all. Appearance: Dark, but not completely black, clear, good head - like always from nitrogen. Taste: Little sweet and some bitterness is present too. It’s very blank. Little chocolate, some malt and caramel. Palate: No body at all, thin texture, actually, long, bitter finish - which is nice. And it’s flat ofc. Overall: That was weak, more like a water, black water with head. Probably beter than most mass beers, but still nothing particular.

Can. Clear dark cola body, small nitro beige head with good retention. Aroma of burned caramel, toast and condensed milk. Taste of burned caramel, burned malts, toast and herbs. Slightly odd palate.

Tap at Seamus O’Donnels, Bristol. St Patrick’s Day celebration. Huge off-white, creamy head, very dark brown, nearly black colour, nice lacing. Aroma: Roasted malts and coffee. Taste: Lightly bitter, with dry/coffee finish. Light to medium body, bit watery, flat. Very nice at the beginning, quite boring towards the end, however had a great time.

16oz can. Pours black with a frothy medium beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, cocoa, minerals, and a little grain. Taste is about the same, with a little coffee, some earthy hops, and a touch of fruitiness. Bitter. Medium body. No carbonation. Watery but creamy.

Nitro can on St. Patricks Day. Pours dark with a full and lasting tan head. Aroma is caramel and roast malts, very smooth and silky palate, haven’t had a nitro can in a while. Not much malt or hop character to speak of really but enjoyable all the same.
