Zarkam (539) - Helsinki, FINLAND - SEP 6, 2013
330ml bottle from Tallinn, brewed in Belgium by Martens. Label in Ukranian with Estonian sticker, ingredients are not all malt though (barley malts, barley, roasted barley) but strength matches. Dark brown colour, small quickly dissipating beige head. Roasty, slightly burnt aroma with coffee, chocolate and a trace of resin, medium body, very dry, somewhat bitter taste and surprisingly the finish is a bit on the sweet side. Not bad actually, though the body should be fuller for a stout.

Flaska. Svart med moccafärgat skum. Rostat kaffe, röda bär och choklad i aromen. Samma i smaken, aningen svagare bara. Viss sälta i eftersmaken.

@ Röhällavägen. Flaska från Systembolaget (17:-). Doftar inte så mycket, lite rostat, lite kaffe. Även smaken är rostat och lite kaffe, överraskande tunn och smaklös, ganska hyfsad beska. En besvikelse.

goozen (4045) - Leiden, NETHERLANDS - JUN 23, 2013
Bottle at Guinness Storehouse, Dublin: Opaque black coloured brew slightly more robust of taste than its global draught brother.

Kita (2117) - Koper, SLOVENIA - JUN 18, 2013
Bottled, 0.33l. Clear, almost black color with large frothy brownishe head and pretty nice lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, chocolate and mild hops. Taste starts with rich roasted malt and coffee, mouthfeel is dry, while aftertaste is long moderate bitter. Full body, oily texture and average carbonation in palate. Very nice, however still not so good as draught...

3.3
