Bottle. Deep, dark color. Some off white head. Taste was Guinness with molasses in it. Aroma was sweet, corn syrup.
$2 for a 275 ml. from a gas station near Ocho Rios, bb Nov 2017. Same look as regular Guinness. Nose is mild mocha and a bit of char. Flavors of cocoa, mild coffee, dark toffee, graham cracker and a touch of prickly green herb. Near-medium bodied and a pretty drinkable balance. Delicious version I had at Montego Bay airport waiting to come home. 8:00am also but I had to try it right? Very thick and chewy compared to what we get in the states. Aroma was dark roasted malt but couldnít really get a good feel for it because I bought it at a newsstand and they didnít have a glass. Looked like a typical dark brown/black beer. Taste was really good. Burnt molasses, strong dark roasted malt and heavy coffee flavors that were very full and pronounced. Lingering bitter finish win a thick chewiness to it. Mild carbonation. Malty and thick beginning. Lots of roasted malt and liquorice. Moderate bitterness in the aftertaste, thick an viscous, very dry. Nice malty intense aftertaste. Great and deep stuff.

Bottle at a restaurant in Nairobi. Dark malty smell with chocolate. Similar taste. Creamy. Allot better and more tasty then the guiness Iíve had in Europe.

Bought this beer from the Montego Bay Airport at $6 USD.
Smells a lot more potent then the North American (NA) variety. A bit of a hop smell.
Pours different then the NA beers, as there is no widget. Coarse head that disappears quickly. Same black colour although more light can bee seen through it.
Taste is more flavourful then the NA version. A slight hop note. Little bitterness on the aftertaste.
Proper amount of carbonation. Smooth with little lingering aftertaste.
Overall I was happy with this purchase. I much prefer the taste of European Guinness to North American version, and this Jamaican variety is close to that. NA version is flat and bland. This is lively and flavourful. Try it if your in the area.

Bottle while in Jamaica. Disappointingly wasnít as good as the one Iíd had in St. Lucia. More bitter than the other Caribbean version, less of a sweet chocolate feel and more dark roast malt. Poured from 500ml bottle at the Lake Duluti Serena Hotel in Arusha, Tanzania.
Opaque, brown-black with a 1-finger tan head and good lacing.
Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate charcoal and dark fruit.
Taste of roasted malt, dark fruit, chocolate, mild dark roasted coffee and dark fruit.
Medium body and medium carbonation.
Very nice. Much better than the regular Guinness.

275 ml bottle poured a clear dark reddish brown with a small lasting tan head. Aromas of roasted malt, dried fruit, cocoa and light coffee. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of roasted malt bitter chocolate, light coffee and light dried fruit with a smooth dry lingering roasty finish.
