Sickly sweet beer and I believe an acquired taste. Had in a hotel in Abuja and it fit the ambiance but when in Nigeria I prefer star beer. Though if you must get serenaded by a lounge singer, this beer will do the trick ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Thanks Maarten for bringing me. Black with light brown thick, lacing lasting foam head. Nice coffee aroma and taste, decent bitterness. Great beer. (Velp 201607)

YantarCoast (1331) - Moscow, RUSSIA - JUL 3, 2016
325ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours black with a large and creamy beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, liquorice, coffee. Taste is sorghum, malt, cold coffee, moderate bitterness. Interesting-tasting foreign stout.

MelvinKalksma (1505) - NETHERLANDS - JUN 7, 2016

Aroma:
Slight/medium aroma of malts, caramel, dried fruit, liquorice, chocolate and cardboard.

Appearance:
Opaque dark brown/black beer with a slight/medium beige/brown head.

Taste/Palate:
Starts slightly/medium sweet with malts, caramel, dried fruit, liquorice and chocolate; ends slightly dry with cardboard.

Overall:
This beer is rather intense and balanced, but lacks depth and complexity. The sorghum make it really weird, but unique.

imdownthepub (14440) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - APR 11, 2016
Bottled, 325ml from Grimsbury Londis, Banbury, Oxon. Black with cream head. There is a malty, fruity sweetness to this, quite plummy, some fructose notes. There is an alcohol note to it along with a slight boiled vegetable hint. It’s fine.

One man down tasting. Pours black with a brown head. Aroma of roast, plums, light grain, light choko, sweet, wooden like notes, raisins, dark fruits. Taste is rather sweet, fruity and generic.

660ml fles van lokale toko. Volle vrij zoete stout. Beetje weeïg. En negeer dat stomme referendum lekker!

Svar öl med ett bestående brunt skum. Lättare toner av rostad malt med inslag av mörk choklad. Även inslag av mörka frukter.
