4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Poured into a glass stein. Absolutely pitch black with two fingers of tan head. Looks perfect.
Rich molasses smell and some vanilla bean.
Tastes like molasses also. A balanced bitterness throughout with a burnt malt at the end.
Thick, almost creamy body with low carbonation.
Wow. Calling it a benchmark. Guinness has brought it strong on this one.
Pours black, big brown head. Aroma of raisin, caramel, choc, butterscotch. Taste of same with great body and rich flavors of coffee and dark chocolate. Definitely Mich better than US Guinness Draught. Wow. Mariox (291) - Warsaw, POLAND - OCT 14, 2017
Backlog, ocena wystawiona na podstawie wspomnień z degustacji oraz przepisana z profilu na Untappd. Niczym się nie wyróżnia, przeciętny stout. livingasghosts (26) - London, Kent, ENGLAND - OCT 13, 2017
UPDATED: OCT 13, 2017 Pours jet black with coffee coloured head. Aroma chocolate and dark fruit. Taste matches. It isn't as smooth as regular Guinness but is much more full flavoured. Nice stout. sammybee (12) - Bradford, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - SEP 19, 2017
Initial mouth feel is suprisingly thin and refreshing, giving way to the familiar full body expected from stout, roast malt flavours (leather, chocolate, tabacco), and a strong, pleasant bitterness. Well balanced, satisying but not too heavy; still one of the best stouts on the market. Shame the standard(e.g draft/weaker ) vers is so insipid in comparison! loscovar (648) - Trieste, ITALY, Villeneuvette, FRANCE - SEP 16, 2017

Bottle from ?, maybe the supermarket, been a long time since I bought it. This I must say is a very pleasant surprise. it is all that lovely cuddlyness that a normal Guinness gives you but refined and made more butch and adult. The product description is quite spot on here, there is a roasted barley taste there, with some added herbs I would say. It is bitter and yet sweet too and quite crisp with a little fizz on the tongue. I think this is very decent indeed, glad it isnt too hard to find. Larry_Duffman (580) - - SEP 4, 2017
I poured it from the bottle into a glass. It pours black with a small, brown head. The aroma is chocolate, coffee, and dried fruit. The taste is dark chocolate, coffee, raisin, and prune. As it warms, some smoky flavor comes through. It's pretty smooth and really flavorful. This is really good stuff. Navers (204) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - SEP 1, 2017
On tap in Molly Malone's. Pours black, creamy, with a great cascade foam effect. Aroma is mild, stoutish sourness, milky, liquorice, sweet, watery. Body is thin, could be more full. Taste is watery, creamy, mild roasted like notes, watered mocha. Good beer, but very watery and light. With a thicker body it could be great. Bottle. Dark brown to black, smal tan head. Aroma of milk chocolate, pralines, liquer. Taste is neutral with bitter finish. Chocolate, pralines, touch of cherries, old paper. Medium body with watery texture, high carbonation.
Better than ordinary Guinness, but still average stout.
Bottle 0.33l. Dark brown colored. AROMA- chocolate, roasted malts, pralines, touch of nuts and alcohol. FLAVOR- neutral, lightly bitter, roasted malts, chocolate, touch of cardboard. Medium bodied.
Not bad for commercial brew.
