4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours pitch black with a good three fingers of sticky brown head that leaves excellent lacing. Aroma is burnt bread, molasses, and chocolate. Taste is molasses and dry malts with waves of hop and dark chocolate bitterness that leads to a good, full finish. This is a fine beer, and much better than extra stout or draught. Fairly priced for what it is.
W aromacie słodkawe, owocowe, palone. W smaku wytrawne, lekko palone, lekka czekolada, kawa. Bamsen78 (5399) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - JUL 3, 2017
Bottle. Pours hazy very dark brown with stable creamy tan head. Clear aroma of malt, fruit and roast, with notes of yeast. Sweetish flavour of malt and dired fruit, with notes of roast and yeast and touches of hops. Roasty and estery aftertaste with malty notes. Creamy mouthfeel. A very nice Foreign Stout. The fact that it is mass produced does not change a thing here. Drinking_77 (118) - Basel, SWITZERLAND - JUN 30, 2017
Comes in the well known dark bottle, Guinness Special Export Stout is a beer with its own unique taste. Can I find the classic Guinness taste in this Foreign Extra version?
Pours the expected pitch black colour with a tan whitish head that didn’t last too long, with little lacing.
A very strong aroma of dark cocoa, coffee and roasted malts. The smell is quite strong on the nose.
The taste was powerful. Now I know why in Africa they use the slogan "Guinness gives you power!" It was a very strong tasting stout, with a long bitter aftertaste, that had a bite to it. Overall a good strong stout, tasting of roasted malt with traces of coffee. As you would expect with a Guinness stout the flavours are complex and well balanced, making it one of the worlds richest tasting beers. Still not as good as a pint of the real black stuff beside the Liffey, Dublin town. ordybill (1758) - Douglasville, Georgia, USA - JUN 28, 2017
Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. The appearance is a dark brown with a large tan head.

Irish draft beer in Shamrock bar in Novi Sad, Serbia. Expensive but very good, worth it. So milky soft in mouth, not so drinkable, pretty color and foam, special pouring technique. coil (48) - - MAY 29, 2017
