4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Black with beautiful head. Malty chocolate aroma. Dry bitter, not heavy bodied as many people assume. Malty with nice noble hop bitterness. Drunk on some beautiful hill in the middle of Rheinland.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Sainsburys. Pours darkest brown with ruby tinge. Foamy light tan head. Nose of chocolate powder, blackcurrant, mild roast coffee. Taste builds coffee slightly, a little chocolate milk, mild earthy herb and a little grain on the finish. A surprisingly light body with gentle to moderate sparkle. Oily on the lips. This has pleasant light roast flavours over a light body. Too light for a stout but a wholesome enjoyable drink.

3.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Piwo z butelki pite w UK. W aromacie głownie gotowane warzywa, niezbyt pozytywnie. W smaku czuć paloność większą niż w Guinnessie pitym w Polsce, całkiem przyjemny, dobrze pijalny stout.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: MAR 26, 2017 March 25, 2017 - on tap at Tin Belly. Dark brown pour with nice head that lasted and sime lacing. Aroma was roasted malt, chocolate and light smoke. Taste was consistent with aroma, chocolate came out as it warmed. Much different from the US version. Side note this English pub goes from playing No Doubt to Jackson 5, weird.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
11.2 oz. bottle, consumed on 2-13-17. Pours an amber-tinted medium to dark brown with a moderate to large amount of beige head. Clear liquid. Good lacing. Nice color and nice head. Looks good. Chocolate and cocoa scents. ďEnglishĒ yeast smell. Some dry grapefruit in the aroma. Roasted malts and clay in the smell. Lemon tartness above a burnt malt base. Old fashioned British Isles macro ale. Light body. Thin. Otherwise unremarkable palate effects. Too low in flavor to impress though certainly better than the unfortunately ubiquitous Guinness Draught.
