3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Can. Pour is mostly dark with a light tan head. Aroma is somewhat sweet with some roasty and milk chocolate aroma. Flavor is nice and subtle, with smooth notes of chocolate, burnt toast, and sweet malt. Nice brew. Kicks that ass of guiness draft any day flavorwise.
11.2 oz. bottle, part of the 200th Anniversary 12 pack. Poured dark brown with a thin beige head. Light chocolate malt, faint coffee and some molasses on the aroma. Light sweetness on the flavor with a medium body that tries to be more than it is. Pretty good. Grumpelmies (451) - GERMANY - MAR 18, 2018
Bottle. German version, 4,1 %. Black/brown with a big beige head. Mild aroma of roasted malts, a little bit of coffee and some tartness. Taste is roasted malts, some dark chocolate and hops in the aftertaste. Strong carbonation and thin body. This is alright and totally sessionable but my least favourite Stout from Guinness. I'm missing the cocoa and the creamy mouthfeel. Zlotta (4396) - Hagen, GERMANY - MAR 7, 2018
0.33 l bottle from 'Rudat' as 'Guinness Extra Stout' at 4.1% abv (German version), best before May 2018. Clear, very dark ruby to black with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty aroma of dark chocolate, some coffee and hints of licorice. Moderately sweet, malty, quite roasty taste of dark chocolate, coffee and some licorice, followed by a short, moderately roasty-bitter, earthy-dry finish. Medium body, slightly creamy and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Decent. sebsky (513) - ENGLAND - MAR 2, 2018

Bottle. Far less beautiful than the guinness draught, and less silky smooth. More a light porter. Not bad. damzz (558) - Massachusetts, USA - DEC 21, 2017
