Bottle. Hazy amber colour with a medium white head, nose is grainy, fruity and sour with notes of sourdough and grapefruit, taste is sweet and only slightly tart with a medium dry finish and a mellow yet watery palate.

Guinness pale ale tasted as it smelt not too good on pallet or taste wise, looked ok but just did not hit the spot ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

500ml bottle. Pours a slight hazy amber with a big off white head. Nose is bread, rye rivita, pepper, lemon and some more fruitiness. Smooth, rye malt first, pepper and a medium bitter finish. It's not exactly bursting with flavour, but its a step up from the basic pub best bitters. Nice enough to have a few though.

A beer designed to have a few of them. So no major strong character but worth trying if you like something a little more interesting than a standard domestic beer ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Scotmid. Appearance - golden amber with a decent head and a slight haze. Nose - rye and other malt bag things. Some honey. Taste - honey and rye again. Palate - light to medium bodied with a crunchy middle section. The finish is a touch astringent. Overall - so so.
