Bottle poured a clear amber with a small lasting ivory head. Aromas of rye, caramel and light earthiness. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of rye, caramel and light earthiness with a crisp dry finish. eastkenttom (135) - herne bay, Kent, ENGLAND - JUL 24, 2017
Not too bad at all. Didn’t expect much, after the marketing hype around their golden ale left me dissatisfied, but this is much better.

500 ml bottle, from Tesco Express, Belfast. ABV is 5%. Deep golden to amber colour, moderate white head. Meaty aroma, notes of broth - weird. Bland and boring dry flavour - weak malts, and no sign of the Mosaic and Cascade hops. What a sick joke! MrTipple (6000) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 16, 2017
Sweet grain malts, caramel, toffee. Clear gold, medium, creamy, white head. Light sweet. More grain malts, more caramel, bread, soft carbonation, medium bodied. Boring, bit heavy on the malts. Bottle from Tesco, Amersham. Bacchus66 (905) - South Carolina, USA - JUL 5, 2017
12oz bottle. Pours lightly hazed golden orange with a thin off white head. Understated nose of rye, orange, spice. Flavors also muted - light caramel malt, earth, spice, very light on hops. Medium-length mildly hoppy finish. Overall light style.

bottle. meh, pretty ho-hum. Not a bad beer - just basic in all ways. what i expected Block (2950) - Indianapolis, Indiana, USA - JUN 23, 2017
Backlog entry. Solid beer and tastes as described and expected. Nothing too complex or noteworthy. ronaldtheriot (1981) - Laplace, Louisiana, USA - JUN 22, 2017
Guinness Rye Pale Ale has a rather thin, soapy, white head, a sediment-filled, cloudy, copper-gold appearance, which really clouds up, following the swish & pour. Aroma is odd- lots of mild citrus, with sourdough bread and sweetness, but not too much rye. Taste is the same, with a very low profile rye note. Mouthfeel is medium and a bit slick, and Guinness Rye Pale Ale finishes mostly dry. RJT

Pours a pale golden color. Slightly hazy. Pours with three finger white head. Excellent retention, fair lacing.BlackBeerPG (844) - Darien, Illinois, USA - JUN 11, 2017
Aroma is rye bread crust. Some citrus.
Taste is spicy rye bread, honey. Light citrus.
Mouthfeel is medium light bodied. Spicy (rye) and sweet all at the same time. More spicy than bitter. Well balanced. Well carbonated, pretty smooth.
Overall, it’s not bad. Not a lot of character. I’d probably buy it again on tap, but otherwise no. Probably would not recommend it.
Taste: Subtle rye, semi sweet caramel malt, bready, smooth finish. Slight earthy and grainy rye nose. Amber, clear, Big foamy head with ring lattice of lace. Medium body.
