UPDATED: OCT 5, 2017 Første øl i genren: Mørkebrun og med lyst brunt skum. Næsen giver ikke så meget - lidt ristet malt. Fuld krop. God balance. Masser af ristet malt, bitterhed. Behagelig afrunding.

Bottle labelled as "Antwerpen Stout". Pours opaque cola brown-to-black, with a 3-finger tan head that was tight and creamy. Mild aroma, with notes of roasted malt and chocolate. Body is full, with a bit of oil to it. Dry finish. Chocolate flavor mixed with roasted malt. A touch of smokiness at the back.

330ml bottle from Tesco, Fermanagh (£1.68):
This one was a very nice beer from Guinness & easily one of the best, if not the very best, that I've tried from the brewery so far. There was a lot more complexity to the beer than anticipated with it coming through quite rich & sweet, plenty of chocolate & darker fruits featuring alongside some nice coffee & roasted flavours. It was a balanced & smooth offering that went down much easier than I thought it would & it's definitely a beer that I'll be on the look out for again.

(bottle as Guinness Antwerpen Stout) Velvety, highly-alcoholic stout. Very warming and embracing. Goes down easy. Got for £1 in Tesco, discontinued.

Flesje.

330ml bottle from Tesco Extra, Watford (as 'Antwerpen Stout'). Black, with a beige head. Nice toasty aroma, very dry flavour, with big burnt notes and dried fruit. Slight boozy hint at the end.

Sampled as Guinness Antwerpen Stout in a bottle from Tesco’s. Black with a thick, creamy beige head. Deceptively easy to drink the high ABV is quite well disguised. A little sweeter than regular Guinness but with a vast amount of bitterness and roasted flavours. Complex taste of dark chocolate, strong black coffee, leather and wood and a long and lingering aftertaste. A really excellent stout.

Kinda malty... brown color. Medium mouth feel. Nutty and a sight bitter. Bottle
