Flawless. Head retention is amazing. Aromas of sweet fruits and flowers. Taste is complex and the yeast definitely stands out and gives off very fruity flavors. Love this beer! JeibiMedeiros (2) - - NOV 9, 2014 does not count
The flavor of this one was a lot more subtle then that of other Quads that I have had. The yeasty maltiness was upfront, but some of the fruity characteristics seems to be lost in the sweetness that is present. The sweetness of the beer is not overpowering, it plays really well with the malt and yeast flavors that are present. The bitterness of the alcohol also does a nice job of cutting down the sweetness of the beer. It helps it all blend together for a decent and more easy drinking quad. erling1000 (725) - - NOV 9, 2016
A dutch, bronze quadrupel with light head. Aroma is malt, caramel, vineous, light prune, light liqourice. Taste is bitter sweet. 2 months past BBD. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone AleMonger8 (3) - TAIWAN - DEC 4, 2016 does not count
33cl bottle shared with 3 friends. Thin white head. Hazy amber pour. Light bitterness. Easy drinking. freekyp (2257) - Thomasville, North Carolina, USA - JUL 19, 2012
Pours crystal clear amber and light tight carbonation and sticky thick lacing. Complex aroma melds honey, caramel, cotton candy, and apples. Flavor is caramel apple, and while sweet, it does not reach cloying. Amazing.

Wat is diet een goed bier! Behoort tot de beste ter wereld. Vind hem beter dan de st bernardus 12 en Westvleteren. Hoor dit vaker, is erg mooi in balans zeker een aanrader met foodpairing!!!!

I’m a big fan of Belgian beers in general, especially the Triple and Quadruple styles, so Gulden Draak 9000 is right up my alley.
It pours a lovely coppery amber with just a slight haze and virtually no head. There is a little bit of web-like lacing left in the glass as you drink it.
The aroma combines the usual Belgian fruit, spice, and sweetness with a hint of alcohol.
The flavor matches up with the aroma. It’s sweet without being overly sugary. It’s spicy to the "just right" level. It’s fruity without tasting like a fruit beer. In short, it’s everything I look for in the Quad style, and nothing I dislike. Hops bitterness is minimal in this one. Even at 10% ABV, the warming note of the alcohol is not intense or uncomfortable.
The finish is fruity and sweet, and very pleasant overall. Bastian (1) - BELGIUM - OCT 15, 2015 does not count
This is one of my all time favourites. Not just another Belgian brown beer, but with a typical taste. Great to slowly drink on a winter evening. predator (4) - - AUG 22, 2012 does not count
