Sampled from the tap at Happy Gnome. Pours a clear gold with an orange hue and a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces. Aroma has sweet grains, dark fruits and Belgian yeast with some calvados coming in. Flavor has sweet grains, raisins, dates and Belgian yeast with a growing booziness. angel77 (4040) - oviedo, SPAIN - JAN 7, 2018
UPDATED: JAN 7, 2018 Caña en Cimmeria 24..12..2017. (r19). Color ámbar tostado bronce velado con espuma blanca persistente. Sabores maltosos dulces con toques de vinos y licores suaves. Suave amargo final. Cuerpo medio algo espumoso. Original. Buena. Andrew196 (2039) - Katy, Texas, USA - JAN 1, 2018
A beautiful beer, slightly tinted copper-rose color with a sharply contrasted egg shell head. Nose is fruity, apples, slight funk, Chardonnay. Very easy for the abv, the beer aged well, wood, grape, apple, cherry, bitter notes towards the end with a slight zest, clove. Good. solidfunk (9729) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - DEC 31, 2017
Wonderful stuff. Florals and some clove like mangosteen fruit. Golden amber pour with decent lacing. Sweet finish. Light tequila like breakfast in Tijuana. Tap at Yard House. dwyerpg (6493) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - DEC 24, 2017
I just don't enjoy this style the way I used to it. The calvados gives this an apply sweetness I didn't care for. Gave me a bit of a headache fairly quickly. Also, very expensive.

UPDATED: DEC 24, 2017 Tap. Moderate roasted, bread and nutty for the malt, light cooked orange for the hops, light to moderate dough for the yeast, with cooked apple, wood and alcohol in the background. Head is small, wispy, off-white, with some slippery lacing and good legs and is mostly diminishing. Color is clear medium amber/orange. Flavor starts moderately sweet and lightly acidic, then finishes lightly sweet and slightly bitter. Palate is medium to full, oily, with a soft carbonation and a lightly alcoholic and sticky finish. An already tasty Quadrupel with an addition of apple brandy on top. fombe89 (4230) - Asturias, SPAIN - DEC 20, 2017

Color dorado espuma blanca, aromas especiados y maltosos, sabores maltosos, dulce notas a madera cuerpo denso, agradable.
750 c&c from Tavour. Pours coppery gold with a foamy near-white head. There's apple in the aroma with perhaps some mild spice. Malt escapes me. Near full bodied. Flavor is apple, wood, some lightly roasty malt, some med shaded stone fruit, and some wood and spice for backdrop. Actually pretty dry. Heat not noticeable, even down the gullet. The wood adds a bit of astringency with time. The apple never leaves. I like Calvados! Lowenbrau (4798) - Asturias, SPAIN - DEC 19, 2017
Keg @Cimmeria, Oviedo. 19-12-2017.
In short: smooth
Did I enjoy it: yes
Pours quite clean deep gold-light amber with nice creamy white head. Moderate head retention, some good lacing. Malty, molasses, licorice, caramel, dried fruits nose. Medium body, soft carbonation, slick texture. Taste follows the nose, quite smooth and refined, overall sweet, littel wood and calvados notes, but in a subtle shrap dry touch in the aftertaste. Palate warmer. good brew, as usual.

Deze heeft mij niet kunnen overtuigen zoals de whiskyvariant dat wel kon. Alcohol is te nadrukkelijk aanwezig. Geeft wel een warm gevoel:)
