Vertical with Gulden Draak. This one was worse.
Deep ruby red colour with huge head. Aroma has raisins, some metal and vegetables. Flavour has raisins, some alcohol, hints of spices and vegetables. Decent.
Vintage 2008. Pours a hazy dark copper into the glass with a nice head. Lots of malt and dried fruit, touches of raisin, brown sugar, yeast, and dough on the nose. So complex. Wonderful flavor but it is a bit less robust than the regular Golden Draak which was a little surprising to me. Very good beer, I prefer the regular Golden Draak to this but it is still exceptional. , 33cl. Head: creamy foam. Color: red copper. Aroma: malt, grass, hay. Taste: mild, sweet. Palate: a little watery, lasting. Overall: nice.
330ml bottle. Pours cloudy amber with an off-white head. Very sweet, caramel-like aroma with a hint of alcohol. The flavour is sugary, malty, caramel-like and has even a hint of bitterness. Sweet finish. tiong (7517) - Espoo, FINLAND - JUL 28, 2012

Pours copper orange with a large foamy head. Aroma of dark ripe fruits, malts, spices and berries. Taste is quite malty with some fruity notes and hints of berries and spices. Finish is spicy and malty with some light berry notes. Okay, but feels a bit cardboardy.
Bottle. Pours murky brown/yellow with a small yellow creamy head. Aroma of Belgian yeast, dark fruits, caramel malts. Very little difference between flavour and aroma. Similar to original. HenrikSoegaard (14480) - Randers, DENMARK - MAY 18, 2012

2009 vintage think may not age well.aroma and flavors are of belgium sugars dark fruits and very mellow.not bad just really over priced at 12 dollars a bottle.everything about this is just ok and it tastes a bit boozey for 7.5 percent.if your going to spend 12 bucks buy something else.
