COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Gulden Draak is a high fermentation beer with secondary fermentation. For the secondary fermentation, wine yeast is used. The white bottle, the black banner, the golden dragon and the red letters, constitute a stylish result that has no equal among the many Belgian special beers. Gulden Draak can be drunk as an aperitif or dessert, or whenever you have the time to sit back and relax. But this barley wine is also perfect with and in stews, especially the Ghent variety. It is also a plus in sauces for red meat, such as a bordelaise. It is particularly suited as a dessert beer, especially in combination with dark chocolate.

Very daark. Brown head, not lasting. Lots of butterscotch and fruit in the nose. Very warming mouthfeel, lots of alcohol in this one. Super sweet, low bitterness. Moderate carbonation.

Aroma: Cereal and soap. Appearance: Dark brown color with clear liquid and white/tan head. Taste: Heavy sweetness. Palate: Medium body with oily texture and average carbonation. Long sweet finish. Overall: Not alcoholic touch but very sweet, too sweet for me. Not recommended for hot temperatures.

Mocno wysycone, miedziane, ciemne, alkohol wysoko.

Aromat rodzynek, karmelu, cukru i trochę alkoholu. W smaku pełne, wręcz gęste, owocowe, karmelowe, ziołowe, minimalnie alkoholowe. Goryczka średnia w stronę wysokiej. Ogólnie bardzo udane i ułożone belgijskie piwo, klasyka gatunku.

W smaku słodkie, średnia pełnia, suszone owoce, karmel, cukier, przyprawy, alkohol. Goryczka niska, wysycenie średnie.
