Kauge (1949) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - DEC 16, 2015
Bottle from Beer Express. BB Apr 2016. Pours a clear pale yellow with a fast receding off-white head. The aroma is grainy sweet, floral and grassy, with slight hints of honey and toffee. Tastes sweet with a nice, rather strong balancing bitterness that stays in the mouth for quite some time. Lightish body with soft prickly carbonation. Pretty good!

Dit bier heeft een redelijk krachtige hop-moutgeur. De smaak bestaat uit verschillende lagen bitter en tarwe. Redelijk puur bier.

Bottle at home. Clear golden with small white head. Sweet grains, light honey and flowers, nice grassy notes with quite some German hops. There’s also a nice toasty maltiness going on here that’s quite nice. Under medium sweet and medium bitter. Thin bodied with crisp feel. Too bad this is so expensive and comes in a ridiculous bottle, as it would be nice to drink as regular Pilsner.

0.33L bottle. Nice strong Czech note hop and light coffee aroma. Clear golden color with small white top, disappears. Taste is quite strong and enjoyable. Nicely balanced. Very ok beer. Pleasant bitter hop mouthfeel. Very nice stylish blue bottle.

harrisoni (18573) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - SEP 23, 2015
On tap at Arends Nest Amsterdam. Clear gold lasting white head. been ages I had a beer this bad. Crappy pale lager. I mean really bad. No redeeming features. It’s awful cardboard city. Vague carbonation sting on finish.

Nocturne (1992) - Cheshire, ENGLAND - SEP 17, 2015
Tap at Arendsnest, Amsterdam. Mostly clear golden shade. Big white head. Features what feels like the dregs of some hop fruitiness and a soapiness running throughout. Some sweetness. Goes down well enough, but quality-wise felt a little below par.

Aroma: Hop, flower, slight honey. Appearance: Yellow/golden beer with a short-lasting white beer. Taste/Palate: Rather watery in the beginning, gets sweeter and ends kinda bitter.

Marduk (7694) - Reval, ESTONIA - AUG 6, 2015
330ml blue bottle. Clear deep golden color. Small size, white head, stays. Sweet, faint grassy hops, malts in aroma. Grassy hops, slightly metallic, caramel and sweet in taste. Metallic hops in aftertaste. Medium carbonation. Perhaps bit too sweet, but still pleasant brew.

Bottle. Lightly skunky aroma, honey, white bread. Light body, medium carbonation. Honey, some lemon, white bread, light metal... Dull. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
