No fizz, no fuss. As if you poured whisky and not beer. A very relaxing attitude. Almost no head. You get pure beer. It has a very refined, round taste. Fits into one’s throat very smoothly. You get a slight bitter taste afterwards, a rather plesant one, like that of Efes Pilsener. This is a beer you would drink and enjoy like whisky and not beer. Not something you would drink more than 2 a day. Something to drink as novelty, or with its stylish blue bottle, to impress one’s girlfriend. Otherwise, it may not justify itsef at three times the price of Heineken.

.33l bottle poured a clear golden beer. Thin head. Smells not too good. Bitter pilsner, herby taste, low carbonation. Nothing special.

ordybill (1623) - Douglasville, Georgia, USA - JAN 26, 2017
Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. The appearance is a cloudy golden color with a small off-white head. The aroma is heavy on malt with some hops, but smelled very stale. The taste follows the nose. Unfortunately, this beer did not taste very good at all.

Palate : lighter bodied.
Taste: bready, malty slightly mineral. Not bad, drinkable enough.

Bottle. Unusual blue bottle.Strange soap like aroma upon opening. Slightly spicy flavour. Not offensive just a bit weird and not one that I would try again.

Blue bottle. Pours a golden body with a medium head. Aroma has clean noble hops. Taste has smooth bready malts with good crisp Saaz. No off-tastes. Finish is slightly milky but in a good way. A decent, above average Pilsner.
