UPDATED: JAN 9, 2014 Very fruity aroma, syrup, brown sugar, roasty, herbs, soy sauce, clear deep redbrown color, creamy tan head with bubbles, creamy retention, smooth bittersweet that continues in the finish which is a bit more bitter, roastiness and fruity tones stay. [140109] slightly rerated with 0.1 up.

Pours a brown red clear beer with good creamy white head. Smells malts, nuts. Tastes malts, nuts and grass. Thin body, sticky texture and an average carbo. Finish bitter and abrupt.

Pours red-brown with a low white head. Tastes mildly bitter and sweet with a hint of fruit. A very enjoyable bock, one of the best if you ask me!

bonkiedeaap (680) - Leerdam, NETHERLANDS - SEP 30, 2013
Bought a bottle at the supermarket. The beer is brown with clear ruby red tones. The head has a cream color, is large and the beer has lively CO2. The aroma is fruity and slightly spicy. The taste is very complex with tones of fruit sirup and spices, artisan laurel and drop experience. The finish is full and sweet with a hoppy bitter at the end. A nice Bock, at least better than Bavaria but not better than Amstel.

30 cl bottle at home. Ruby/amber brown with a quickly disappearing slightly off-white head. Medium body with ditto carbonation. Caramel, red fruits and some hops. Sweet and sour with a bitter finish. Not the best bock.

Ótima dunkle Bock grega. Cor escura com media formação de espuma, aroma maltado intenso, frutas secas. Na boca gosto frutado, notas de coco, algo fenólico. Final longo, com aquecimento alcoólico no fim. Ótima breja! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Boa breja. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Smells like toffee and cranberries. Very sweety nose. Colour is quite lighter than expected for a bokcbier but is still dark rubyish and is slightly syrupy. This beer as an extraordinary persistent thin off-white head. Taste is quite sweety overall but intereting little hints of dark fruits and even liquorice.
