Don’t over analyse - just enjoy ! A superb full flavoured beer to be drunk when away from UK - although I’ve just bought a quantity in Holland to bring back home ! Yes, it’s that good ! zontomaatje (6) - Nieuwerkerk aan den IJssel, NETHERLANDS - AUG 14, 2003 does not count
One of the 2002 winners for me for the Dutch Bockbeers!!!! It is a pity that the bock time takes so short..... cobellig (39) - NETHERLANDS - DEC 19, 2014

UPDATED: OCT 17, 2004 Great bockbeer! Very dark, brown beer with a large longlasting head and a full, intense aroma. Pretty sweet but not too overwhelming, very easy to drink, and the aftertaste is really fine, warming, sweet and slightly alcoholic..

Pours red-brown with a low white head. Tastes mildly bitter and sweet with a hint of fruit. A very enjoyable bock, one of the best if you ask me! androman (2937) - Maarssen, NETHERLANDS - DEC 1, 2013
30cl bottle @ home. Dark reddish-brown clear color, beige head, sweetish smell. Aroma caramel, chocolate, coffee, toast, slight alcohol notes. Taste medium sweetness, medium to heavy bitterness. Average carbonation, fine bitter finish. Delicious bock beer.
