Poors yellow with white head. 33cl botlle. Nice somewhat bitter pils. Best of Limburg :)

Tap. Golden colour, white head that quickly leaves you alone. Aroma of grains and hops. Flavour is not that good in my humble opinion. Quite harsh, bitter and overwhelming. Once you downed a few of these, you’ll be fine but this is certainley not my beer of choice.

07/08/2010 25cl bottle @ Hof van Twello

A pale yellow beer, fine white head, unstable, bit adhesive. Lots of carbon in the glass. Aroma: hop and almonds. MF: bit flat, but ok. Light body. Taste: somewhat bitter, watery. Aftertaste: slightly bitter, nothing special.

Koelschtrinker (21064) - K?ln (Cologne), GERMANY - JUN 14, 2011
Hopfiger Antrunk, unterstützt von leichter Würzigkeit. Im Mittelteil herb, dies wirkt hier etwas stumpf, dazu trägt auch der (zugegeben nur minimale) metallerne Ton bei. Mittelhopfiger Nachgeschmack. Normales Pils. Test vom 2.6.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 6,7,7,8,8,7 - 7,10

Countbeer (6591) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - OCT 18, 2010
Bottle: White head on top of a clear yellow beer. Typical pilsner smell of malts, spices and hops. Taste is pretty fresh and slight above average for a pilsner.

Glasses of 15 cl, I think from tap on a party of my work in Venlo. Golden beer with bubbles, medium white creamy head, quite OK. Aroma of malts and grains (wheat I think). Taste is also grainy, wheaty, with a malty background with a light hop-bitter finish. Certainly not the worst Dutch beer I drunk, but to call this a real good one would be exaggerated.

markas101 (2487) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - MAY 14, 2010
33 cl bottle, Maastricht, The Netherlands. Off golden colour, thin foamy head. Spicy sweet aroma, velvety carbonation with a balance sweet/bitter taste and drying pepper finish.

HenrikSoegaard (14443) - Randers, DENMARK - MAY 9, 2010
Bottle. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Light malty and moderate hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter lavor. Short moderate bitter inish. Oily palate. Nice beer.

JanEric (1241) - Meppel, NETHERLANDS - APR 18, 2010
Tap, in Valkenburg. Clear yellow pilsner, refreshening. Good bitterness, a better pilsner, like other Limburger pilsners. Not too sweet with a good hoppiness. For me it’s happiness.

KnutAlbert (6771) - Oslo, NORWAY - APR 5, 2010
Bottle from an Amsterdam supermarket. Flowery hops, a little harsh bitterness, perhaps, but this is a beer with some character. Dusty hops. This would cut nicely through fat or spicy food.
