Gravity cask at St Peter’s Ale House, Bedford. Dark brown but certainly translucent. Not much visible carbonation. Roast coffee and sweet milk chocolate dominate the aroma. Sweet taste with a rounding bitter on the finish. Long and somewhat bitter aftertaste. Body is watery and a bit flat, but otherwise an above average stout.
