Gusswerk Nicobar IPA is inspired by the journeys of Austrian ships sailing from Trieste to the Nicobar Islands. They were carrying a special brew destined for the only Austrian colony in the Indian Ocean, established in the reign of Her Majesty Empress Maria Theresia of Austria. Ingredients: water, organic barley malt, organic hops (Hallertau Tradition, Simcoe, Citra, Cascade), yeast.

33cl fles. Troebel amber kleur, middelfijne romige creme schuimkraag. Aroma van tropisch fruit en dennen. Smaak is zoet, ananas, lychee en citrus. Vol lichaam, veel koolzuur.

mike_77 (7011) - Breda, NETHERLANDS - MAR 28, 2017
Hazy blond colour with lasting head. Aroma and flavour have light tropical fruit. Quite malty and smooth.

hauxe (893) - Butzbach, Hesse, GERMANY - FEB 7, 2017
Pours murky orange from the bottle. The huge, foamy crown rapidly dissipates. Aromas of maracaja and mango greet the nose. There is also a vague yeasty, bready undertone. The taste is tart, lightly bitter, with noticeable resin, orange zest and spice. Body is medium but palate still feels brittle, thin, and fails to impart the depth of flavor I would expect from a really good IPA. A dry, pungent vinegary bitterness arises as we move into the finish. Okay, but kind of disappointing.

Foerdifuxx (402) - Franconia, GERMANY - JAN 22, 2017
Slightly hazy, amber coloured beer with a medium sized, medium to good lasting, creme coloured head. Aromas of resin and citrus hops, bit of grassy hops, lychee and other tropical fruits, quite heavy on the caramel-malt-biscuit-site. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter, light to medium bitter and caramel malty in the middle part and, light bitter, quite grainy in finish.

Luvystypotables (2039) - Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA - JAN 11, 2017
A fruity aroma, with notes of floral hops and caramel, pours a slightly hazy caramel color with a lasting off white head, foamy with some lacing. A delicious taste of fruit, caramel and floral hops, medium body with a lightly bitter floral hop finish.

ShivanDragon (4490) - Leeuwarden, NETHERLANDS - DEC 30, 2016
Thanks secret santa, pours amber with a full off white head. Aroma quite hoppy, citrus, malt, yeast. Taste likewise, pretty firm bitter, yeast, citrus, lots of carbo, grapefruit, medium body, long hoppy aftertaste.

ruigo (3088) - PORTUGAL - DEC 6, 2016
33cl bottle. Hazy orange amber with nice sticky white head. Malts, honey and light yeast in the aroma. Taste is medium sweet with fruity and caramel notes. Overall, resembles more a Belgian Ale than an IPA.

Koelschtrinker (21064) - K?ln (Cologne), GERMANY - DEC 4, 2016
Dunkel hopfig malziger Antrunk. Bitter karamellig, voluminös. Süßlich, der Hopfen bleibt karamellig, spritzig, zum Ende dunkler, blumig, Nuancen von Mango. 11/10/10/10/9/10

kerenmk (5028) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - OCT 31, 2016
Bottle sample at a tasting at Tom’s place. Thanks zvikar. Hazy amber-bronze. Sweet, peach taste with a little bread and jam. Sweet and malty taste with notes of fruit nectar. Full body, fizzy, sweet finish.
