Bottled, thanks Beerhunter111! Almost clear golden, mid sized creamy head. Fruity nose with notes of spice. Mid sweet with medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Grass, honey and ripe fruit, notes of butter. Fairly low bitterness.

massingasetta (713) - Mnchen, GERMANY - SEP 22, 2016
A well defined Helle that is definately drinkable, has the necessary sweetness and bitterness balance that one expects from a Helle. Not going to rock the house, but certainly presentable.

glennmastrange (2763) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - JUL 6, 2014
Tap at the Privat-Brauerei in Forsting. Moderate grain for the malt, light to moderate herbs for the hops, light dried leaves for the yeast, with a hint of pepper. Head is huge, frothy, white with excellent lacing and is fully lasting. Color is sparkling clear gold. Flavor starts faintly sweet and lightly acidic, then finishes lightly to moderately bitter. Palate is light to medium, watery with a lively carbonation. Another crisp and clean Bavarian Helles.

Koelschtrinker (18731) - Kln (Cologne), GERMANY - MAR 22, 2014
Wenig ser Getreideantrunk, mild herb. Das Bier bleibt konstant, die Aromen und die Intensitt ndern sich kaum. Frisch, kurzes Finish. 8/8/10/8/7/8
Earlier Rating: 5/23/2011 Total Score: 2.8
In Ordnung. 7/8/8/8/10/8
