JaKeAFC's rating

50 cl bottle, 5.2%. Classic weizen appearance, cloudy orange colour with a massive head and lots of sediment in the bottle. Aroma is mildly fruity, classic weizen, softly citrusy with lots of yeast. Taste is nicely balanced with soft grasy hops. Medium to full bodied, proper carbonation, nice spicy finish. Reminds me of Weihenstephaner, very close to that one, and very neat. Nice hefeweizen, very good one.

Bottle from Biershop Bayern. Hazy yellow colour, lots of creamy foam. Lots of banana in the nose. Yeasty, sweet, light bitter. Well balanced. Nice hefeweizen.

Bottle. Bright orange yellow colour, medium head. Grain, yeast, grass, banana, citrus. Yeasty and slightly bitter. Oily texture. Medium body. Soft carbonated.

0,5 l bottle from Rossia Supermarkt, Berlin (Apr 12, 2017). Also back in 2014 draught 0,5 l @ some beer garden in Nuremberg. Pale, cloudy and a big head. Aroma has phenols. Taste has that sweet yeast, very ripe bananas. A bit more sweet than the hefeweizens around Munich. Still quite tasty.

PowY (714) - AUSTRIA - MAR 4, 2017
500 ml bottle. Pours a hazy light orange with a white head. The aroma is lightly yeasty with some fruits. medium watery body with a medium carbonation and a light sweetness. Taste of pear and cloves.

Draught at Hutt’n Nuremburg. Just what you want with some gorgeous pork shoulder.

Ritzn (1314) - GERMANY - JAN 31, 2017
Hazy golden with medium white head. Aroma is lots of estery stuff, some yeasts, slight fruit, flour and maybe some grassy notes. Taste is sour yeasty stuff, slight fruit sweetness, not much bitterness. Incredibly smooth on the tongue, some floury yeasty texture, with just the right amount of carbonation. Lacks a unique character, still very nice.

fdomig (996) - München, GERMANY - JAN 26, 2017
500ml bottle at home in Lech. Aroma is yeast and light pear, very light algae. Appearance is cloudy yellow with a huge white foam. Taste is light sweet and very light bitter. Light and watery. Ok.
