Bottle. Clear orange, light amber with no head. Very rustic nose, farmhouse aromas, sweet fermented apples. Harsh mouthfeel, acidic, oaky flavor, watery texture. One dimensional. Tart, drying finish. Not a pleasure to drink. Ungstrup (37601) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - AUG 27, 2012
Bottled. An amber cider with a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of over ripe apples and alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of apples, alcohol, and wood, leading to a slightly tart finish. Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - AUG 27, 2012

Hazy golden colour, small head. Aroma is extremely acidic sweet apples with mild cheesyness. Flavour is fruits, sweet and acidic apples as well as mild herbal/spicy notes.
From cask. Pours hazy yellow with a minimal white head. Aroma is fruity and mild acidic. Dry and acidic flavoured. Slight aecetone and citric into a bone dry finish. MesandSim (7117) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 4, 2010
A Sim rate (plastic cask at GBBF): sharp, acidic aroma that -although I really like it- has a bit of a cleaning products smell to it. Palate is thick and pulpy with a great fizz that hits you in the finish. Sharp, fizzy taste that’s both sweet and sour. I really like it. Bottle from Oakchurch Farm Shop, Staunton on Wye, Herefordshire purchased and consumed 08-01-10 Pours medium gold good clarity. Aroma is touch sharp and with slight cider apple vinegar notes, bit of wood also. Taste is dry, really quite crisp and clean appley tasting but overall a really quite subtle cider. Its a bit woody, drinks much easier than its strength but really lacks the depth of flavour of others in the Gwatkin stable, that said it’s an enjoyable little number. Bottle. Golden and still. Aromas are minimal apple juice with lots of woody notes, sake and alcohol. Quite peppery. Flavours are very dry and woody with lots of mushroom. Vinegar and citrus come through with lots of barnyard funkiness. Very little apple. I like "real" cider but didn’t get on with this at all.
