Handpump @Brasserie 4:20 (Rome). Color arancia chiara, mediamente torbida, schiuma virtualmente assente. Al naso sentori di mella annurca, stalla, cantina, leggero acetico. In bocca è mediamente acido, secco, con finale abbastanza lungo, leggero acetico, netta astringenza. Corpo medio, carbonazione leggera. Molto buono. Bottle from Middle Farm Cider Centre. It pours clear rich amber with a tiny fizzy white head. The aroma is earthy, funky, musty, wood, leather, desert apple, honey, and damp hay. The taste is quite sweet and sticky initially....sweet apple, apple pie & ice cream, apple tango and white sugar, then it transitions into drying wood, tannin, earth, leather and a touch of alcohol. Finish is more dry. Medium body and moderate, prickly carbonation. A touch sweet for my taste, but its decent enough anyhow. McTapps (6950) - Reutlingen, GERMANY - FEB 20, 2015
Bottle from minutemat - many thanks! The cider has got a clear deep golden colour with a smooth body. Wonderful aroma of ripe apples. Taste of red apples, apple mash, caramel, honey, straw and oak. Sweet but not too sweet finish. Enjoyed it a lot. So smoothing and warming. Wonderful cider experience. MichaelAwesome (6545) - Wanne-Eickel, GERMANY - FEB 18, 2015
Honestly said, after a week or what full of Frankfurter Ebbelwoi, this one is not only a big difference. It is Champions League fuil of aromas containing apples and pears, peaches and lemons. It also offers a deep, mild sweetness combined with a surprising and sharp dryness making this one a great mixture of aromas and tastes which are so balanced - tough to describe how it saved an evening going the wrong way with Schalke 04 in misery. danlo (3178) - Darlington, Durham, ENGLAND - MAY 28, 2014
500ml bottle. Orangey amber colour, foam white head that diminishes and aroma of apple, woody, oak, sawdust, vinegar, barnyard. Taste is sweet fruity apple, sourish wood, oaky, peaty smokey, barnyard, bittersweet and some tannin. Slightly oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tannic finish. Very drinkable.

Bottled, 500ml, magically appearing over the Christmas period, nobody owning up to buying it!. Brownish gold with no head. Apple cider aroma and yes, in the flavour too. Sweetish but also a light tartness. Apple flesh. It’s a reasonable cider. Rasmus40 (21689) - Beder, Aarhus, DENMARK - JAN 1, 2014
Bottle from Vinmonopolet Vika, Oslo. Clear amber with a small off-white head. Aroma is sour apples, vinegar and barnyard. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate acidic. Dry and moderate acidic finish. Really nice. 010114 minutemat (5938) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - OCT 23, 2013
500ml bottle from Gwatkin. Much the same as all other Gwatkin ciders.. WAY too sweet & sickly, like undiluted cordial. As such it’s almost impossible to detect the true Yarlington Mill flavour and tastes genuinely unhealthy to drink. Unbelievable that this is actually on sale to the public. A clear 0.5l bottle. It has a really good color this one. Dark warm amber - almost a bit red/brown in the glass, light blurry and it has to no surprise a quickly lived small bubbly fizzing cider head. The nose has a good sweetness of sweet red apples, cellar, some clear wood, a good amount of what I like to call paint thinner and a little bit or pear. Oh my it has lots of flavor, that’s for sure. Quite sweet but not cloying. The wood is playing the main role here. Really, and then I mean really wood infected with a good amount of dusky cellar as well. The alcohol is quite present, but it really needs that little kick to balance all that sweetness and wood flavor. Quite interesting, and I’m actually enjoying this more and more. Have to get used to that intense apply wood flavor, but after a few bottles you hardly even notice it anymore. 10.09.2013 sic1314 (4775) - Leiden, NETHERLANDS - SEP 23, 2013
Poured a medium amber with a frothy white head. Aroma of zesty oaked apples. Medium body, flavour of woody apple, fairly dry and astringent.
