So this is back to being rateable now? Great! Bottle. Clear purple-ish red color with white head. Aroma is fruit syrup, blackberries, but really syrup-like. Taste is fruit syrup, blueberries, sweet, but then some oakiness and dryness with saliva-sucking tannins come through. The dryness is very surprising considering the initial sweetness. A weird mixture, but tasty. I would like this to be more balanced, though, and not have the flavours coming in a sequential way. Low to medium carbonation. Still fine, I had already expected this to be a bit sweeter, but the finish is a nice surprising bonus!

Cask at the Peterborough beer Festival 2017. A vibrant pink cherry red coloured pour with a halo of pink head. Aroma is sweet ribena, berries, summer fruits and apple. Medium sweet on the nose. Flavour is composed of sweet blackberry, light apple, mixed berry fruits. Palate is medium sweet, easy going, mellow carbonation. Really drinkable. Lovely.
