I am not normaly a cider drinker. In trueth the only reason lm drinking my 2nd pint of it now id due to the fact l liked the name and thought it was an ale. Saying that its blooming marvellous! It also leaves an unplaceable after taste l can only liken to mead!

Cask [email protected] The Tanner, London (28/08/2016) - pours gold with a white head. Aroma and taste is prominent sweet apple, appleskin, apple infused wooden oaky nuances in the finish. Nice!

Draught at shrewsbury hotel. Pours copper. Rich caramel aroma. Quite a rich super sweet taste perhaps too much. Rather boozy & syrupy. Not really a pint-worthy cider.

Hazy dark-ish golden color with almost no head. Apples and a bit grassy aroma. Full body. Tad sweet and a fine acidity. Soft carbonation. Powerful apple flavor with some grassy notes. Tasty nice cider!

September 5, 2014 at The Southampton Arms (visit #1) - handpull. Amber-gold, very clear and refractive, just a hint of bubbly head. Aroma is quite interesting - apple, alcohol, and an odd uric tartness ... the taste is super super simple, and drinks like 4% - some baked alaska sweetness in it, but ... wow. Slick, average body, not all that much acidity, and quick finishing - very pleasant. A real "wind up in the gutter" pull.

Draught at the Cider Farm in Lewes. This one was quite classy. Cloudy, sharp, some earth in the back with a bit of grass and hay. Unusual aromas by a fine and special cider. Big apples and sharp ending. Liked that one like McT did.
