@ Royal Oak, Twerton. Deep gold. Earthy, skin-forward aroma. Crisp and juicy with lots of acidity and almost toastiness. Great complexity and balance, a gorgeous cider. Leighton (22027) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 4, 2010
Tap at JDW Edgware Road. Pour clear, orange gold. Lightly dank, sweet apple aroma. Flavor is sweet but not excessive, with some must, sweat, tree bark and light acidity. Medium in body with flat carbonation. The finish is mild apple sweet, semi-dry with lingering dankness and some boozy warmth. Good cider. I am not normaly a cider drinker. In trueth the only reason l’m drinking my 2nd pint of it now id due to the fact l liked the name and thought it was an ale.
Saying that its blooming marvellous! It also leaves an unplaceable after taste l can only liken to mead! bhensonb (15607) - Woodland, California, USA - APR 11, 2013
Cask at The Punch Bowl in York. Pours burnished copper with a white smear. Aroma of old appleskin. Near med body. Flavor is almost oaky appleskin. It’s astringent, but not really dry. Almost or mayhap even actually bitter. Very tasty. Too drinkable. SarkyNorthener (4765) - West Bromwich (Yorkshire Expat), West Midlands, ENGLAND - AUG 1, 2013

UPDATED: DEC 20, 2009 Polycask at Merton Summer Beer and Cider Festival, 17-07-09 Pours clear lemony yellow colour with a white effervesence briefly creating a small head. Nice soft appley aroma along with some oak. Good appley taste that again is a little softened presumabley as a result of the oak aging, nice stuff. Nice woodiness in mouth which quickly seeps into a lovey tangy fruity overipe sweet apple. Great stuff. A6 A5 F8 P4 Ov14 3.7 fiulijn (21022) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 2, 2009
Cask Conditioned at The Pembury Tavern, LondonAshtonMcCobb (6846) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - FEB 20, 2014
Hazy light blond color; thin creamy head, persistent. Strong aroma of fresh apples, yellow and green, light marmalade too. Smooth mouthfeel, with good apple juice flavor, light acidity, some residual sweetness, and a light astringency to make it more complex. Excellent.
On tap at the White Lady.
Appearance - amber with no bubble to speak of and no head.
Nose - apple sauce but not overly mushed.
Taste - fresh apple with an apple juice tang.
Palate - medium bodied with a big tangy texture and a long dry finish.
Overall - good cider in my favourite strong still style. oh6gdx (26487) - Vasa, FINLAND - AUG 10, 2010
