Clear bottle at Anona’s small holding. As Gwynt y Ddraig Black Dragon Welsh Cider , 6.5%. Clear orange, sparkling, very little head. Body is smooth with tingly carbonation. Taste is sugary syrupy apple, tart apple, slight elderflower, semi dry finish, bit gassy and acidic on my stomach. Alright but not really my thing. 20170713 Proeflokaal te Delft (Nl); 50 cl bottle. A thin white foam layer on a dark yellow coloured cider. A nice aroma of red sweet apples. The taste is not really sweet (enough for a good body) with a very good fruity apple taste. Light white grapes and a small bitter. Good balance. tommann (3801) - Dudley, West Midlands, ENGLAND - APR 9, 2017

Cask @ St. Jude brewery Tawern, Ipswich. Pours golden, no head. Aroma of apples, light sweet, green apples, wood, little nutty. Thin to medium body, flat carbonation, light sweet finish. 150217 FinnIckler (571) - GERMANY - FEB 12, 2017
Bottle from ciderandmore.de .Pours clear yellow. Nose is acidic apple, but a weird boozy touch. Palate is sooo smooth, the carbonation accumulates at the tip of the tongue. Nice medium dry apple, some oak, some vanilla. Great cider, very smooth, one of the best I’ve had yet.

Slight aroma of malts, caramel, wood, apples and barnyard.
Clear golden/amber beer with no head.
Medium sweet and slightly dry and sour with malts, caramel, wood, apples and barnyard.
This beer is rather intense and balanced, but lacks complexity. My first real Cider and I am not quite sold. Feels a bit one-dimensional without a lot of distinct and noticeable flavours besides the apples.

"This special reserve cider has been hand crafted exclusively from cider apples grown by traditional methods in ageing orchards.
The juice pressed from these apples is fermented and matured in oak barrels to produce a cider rich in colour, body and flavour with a fresh fruity aroma." [cidery notes] ***
Colour: Deep, clear orange. No head. ***
Nose: Dried apples with a hint of oak. ***
Mouthfeel: Heavy, full bodied. Soft carbonation. ***
Taste: Intense, sweet red apples, some cinnamon. Middle is medium dry, still fruity, with some spices. Hints of oak in the finish, but subtle. Red apples and a touch of lemon in the long aftertaste. ***
Impressions: Full-bodied, fruity sweet to medium sweet cider with only subtle aromas from the oak barrels. Very nice indeed. King_Alex_II (1228) - SWITZERLAND - AUG 18, 2016
