Tap at Charters Bar, Peterborough. Poured a clear straw colour with a bubbly white head. The aroma is grainy sweet apple. The flavour is strong sweet with a smooth super sweet apple light alcohol, light floral palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Served warm so sat last some of the flavours came through.

Handpull at the Haymakers, Cambridge. Golden, clear and flat. Dry woody smell, with some turpentine, accompanies the apple scent. Sweetervthan I expected, but with dry woody edges and a papery dry finish. Fairly run of the mill but still tasty.

(bag-in-box) clear deep golden colour with no head. aroma of apple juice and hay, with lots of grass, some light vanilla and wax. flavour is mostly apple sauce, some vanilla and starch, slightly boozy, with some more grass and a semi-dry finish. medium-bodied with no carbonation.

minutemat (5545) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - AUG 28, 2015
Draught @ Cottage Loaf, Llandudno. Pours hazy amber with a fresh floral aroma. Complex juicy, fruity taste with an interesting sweet character and some rogue wood varnish notes. A little sharp at times, and drier than expected but still pretty nice.

The_Osprey (7996) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 16, 2015
Apr 2015 - Cask at JDW. Cloudy yellow, still, small white head. Aroma is flowery, a little sour, apple, pungent esters. Body is medium, smooth, low carbonation. Taste is astringent apple, banana skin, soft alcohol, some rubber, sweet and sickly, light acidity. Not hitting the right notes for me. Overly astringent peel and ester.

Cask @ Trades Club, Hebden Bridge. Pale golden-amber with a very small bubbly head. Has a light nose and a fairly watery texture, but is full of sweet flavour.

weaselkenievil (1608) - Cheshire, ENGLAND - MAY 8, 2014
Draught in the Waters Green Tavern, Macclesfield. Lightly hazy yellow gold with pretty much no head. Aroma of sherry, apples sauce, some wood. Flavour is thick syrupy apples. I always know I’m in a mess if I’ve turned to cider. Quite enjoyed this.
